Malacañang on Thursday announced that February 23 will be a special holiday in all schools nationwide in observance of the 23rd anniversary of the First EDSA revolution.

Proclamation Number 1728, signed by Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita on orders of President Arroyo, contained the announcement. With a report from RG Cruz, ABS-CBN News
