The EdSc 122 (Astronomy) students will conduct a lecture series in Basic Astronomy on March 18, 2009, 5:00-7:00 PM at the CED Amphitheater. The lecture covers the following topics: History of Astronomy, The Beginning, People in Astronomy, Patterns in the Sky, Lunar Phases, Eclipses and Tides. The Planets, Planetary Debris, Stars, Galaxies and Space Travel. Registration is free.
