Hello CED students!
I hope you are all safe and well.
During this time of pandemic, I am encouraging you to remain positive about life. Now, you are in control of your daily schedule. Some of you might be spending more time on movie series with your family at home or with friends in your boarding houses/ dormitories, or might be engaging on a new, interesting, and enjoyable craft. You’re having an opportunity to get to know your family members more and enjoy your time together at home. To those staying in their boarding houses or dormitories, you get to know more about your “beshies” and learn to work together with them to stretch out your meager resources during this ECQ. To those who are serving the community during this difficult time, I salute you! The kindness and empathy you have shown are worth emulating.
Our academic task for the present semester has already ended, but still, I am encouraging you to reach out to your professors and classmates if you feel that you are needing some support in coping with stress and anxiety during this trying time. The College through its faculty is very much willing to help you through your emotional struggles and other difficulties encountered right now. As far as your studies are concerned, we are working hard to make sure that you will learn the essential skills and succeed in your chosen profession in spite of the odds of COVID-19.
I want you to know that we miss you. Your energy and high spirits inspire us more to serve you with pride and excellence. I am excited to bring all of you back together in the College when this crisis is over.
Just like any trial, this too, will come to pass. Stay safe and support each other. I am optimistic that this experience will help you prepare to become great teachers in the country.
