5th Annual Convention
Mathematical Society of the Philippines (MSP) - Regions 10, 12 and ARMM

28-29 October 2010
AJ High Time Hotel, Kidapawan City

 

Invited Participants

All interested Math educators, researchers and students all over Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao

Objectives of the Convention

  1. To introduce students, researchers and teachers in the region to the current advancement of mathematical theories and new practices in mathematical education;
  2. To provide venue and opportunities for researchers in the region to present and discuss quality and relevant research outputs in mathematics; and
  3. To facilitate active interaction  among researches and stimulate more research activities in mathematics in the region.

Features of the Convention

  • Four Plenary Talks
  • Parallel Sessions in Mathematics Education, Applied Mathematics, and Pure Mathematics
    (Best Paper: P1000 for each category)
  • Poster Presentation
    (Best Poster: P1000)
  • Convention Tour (Lake Agco, Kidapawan Landmark)

Paper Submission

The deadline for submission of abstracts (for paper and paper presentation) is August 13, 2010. Abstracts for submission must be written in MS Word or Latex Format and of font size 11. Please send titles and abstracts to any of the following:

Registration Fee and Information

Early registration (on or before September 29, 2010):

  • Members --- P2,200
  • Non-members --- P2,500
