The Philippine Statistical System (PSS), spearheaded by the National Statistical Coordination Board (NSCB), will hold the 11th National Convention on Statistics (NCS) on October 4-5, 2010 to serve as a forum for practitioners and theoreticians in the field of statistics to discuss prevailing issues and emerging developments affecting the PSS and to elicit the cooperation and support of statisticians and professionals in related fields from the government, academe and private sector towards a more responsive statistical system. The 11th NCS will coincide with the opening of the 21st National Statistics Month (NSM) which is celebrated every October. The two-day convention will have two plenary sessions as well as simultaneous sessions for invited and contributed papers.
For the two-day event, sessions for invited papers and contributed papers shall be organized. In this regard, we are inviting you to present a paper on Statistical Researches in any of the specified areas. There will be two to three papers per session for the invited papers and four to five papers per session for the contributed papers.
