The IT Project Manager is responsible for project coordination by working closely with the Project Team members. The IT Project Manager is responsible for coordinating, organizing, and controlling project activities.
- Attend project meetings and assist with analyzing project requirements
- Prepare technical project diagrams such DAD, SPD, Workflow, and others.
- Facilitate project meetings and distribute minutes to all project team members
- Track the progress and quality of work being performed by Design and Engineering team.
- Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor projects plans and work hours
- Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the project team
- Accomplishes project requirements by orienting, assigning, scheduling, and educating the project team
- Facilitates and creates comprehensive training sessions, demos, and materials along with managing the training project plan.
- Meets work standards by following production, productivity, quality and customer service standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements.
- Maintains project documentation in centralized repositories and appropriately communicates and distributes to prevalent audiences.
- Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value.
- Driving tasks to completion on time.
- Must be willing to handle multiple projects and can work independently in a fast-paced environment.
As IT Project Manager, you must have:
- BS degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Management, Marketing or equivalent
- With Project Management experience for 2-3 years.
- Knowledge in Product Development.
- Passionate about creating high-impact user experiences that build customers relationship better.
- Strong analytical aptitude. Has the ability to analyze and propose data-driven solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and can negotiate with ease (in English and Filipino).
- Highly organized and pays attention to detail.
- This is a work-from-home position, so having a working computer and a stable internet subscription is a must
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS (NICE-TO-HAVE ADVANTAGE):
- Experience with developing/supporting an insurance application (e.g. Policy Administration, Claims Administration, Underwriting, etc)
- Commercial Property Insurance or Commercial Casualty Insurance or Commercial Auto Insurance experience
- Experience with AGILE Methodology and SAFe/SCRUM framework
