Grand Champion, 2005 Trend Micro P1M Tech Challenge of Developing a Network Security Application, November 22-25, 2005, Crowne Plaza Galleria Manila. The team IITians developed a client-server application that detects and cleans a new and fast spreading worm that infects a network. The application also prevents re-infection of the client PCs. Adjudged as the over-all champion, the team brought home the Php1,000,000.00 grand prize as well as individual trophies and certificates of priority employment for the team members and a trophy for the school.
