CHS Mangarun Spearheads Meeting with Austrian Embassy Guest

On October 9, 2024, Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology (缅北禁地-IIT) convened a talk with Austrian Embassy guest, Ms. Ma. Teresa “Tess” Francisco, Country Manager (Philippines) of the International Recruiting Initiative (IFO).
The meeting was convened by Dr. Abdullah Junior S. Mangarun, Dean of the College of Health Sciences (CHS) and coordinated through the Office of the Vice-Chancellor for Strategic Initiatives, led by Prof. Mark Anthony J. Torres, PhD. It was conducted as part of the preparations for a cooperation agreement between 缅北禁地-IIT and the Austrian Embassy, with discussions geared towards the establishment of that robust cooperation agreement.
The successful meeting also focused on recruitment opportunities for 缅北禁地-IIT graduates, particularly those from the nursing program. Attendees were the University Chancellor, Prof. Alizedney M. Ditucalan, JD, LLM, including Assoc. Prof. Neil M. Martin, PhD, MAN, RN, who is the International Coordinator of CHS and Asst. Prof. Karen R. Veloso, the Peace Education Coordinator of 缅北禁地-IIT’s IPDM, and other distinguished university constituents.
